Jess’s Story

Back in 2017, I could only dream of being where I am today - writing my own story, on my very own website, with my business name proudly above the door.

It all started with a simple love for baking. A girl in her family kitchen, teaching herself how to make, the old-school way, from scratch. 

Pouring heart and soul into every cake, making moments that little bit sweeter for family and friends. What began as a passion for creating personalised baked and cakes soon became something more - a realisation that the joy of home baking could be shared far beyond my own doorstep.

From baking at home to moving into a dedicated bakery, one thing has never changed: my mission is to keep that homemade taste alive. Every cake, and every bake carries that very mission of making something that tastes and feels like it was made at home. 

Now, Jess’s Bakes brings hand-crafted treats to cafés across Yorkshire and personalised cakes to celebrations across the country. Whether it’s a small indulgence with a cup of coffee or the centerpiece of a special occasion, every bake is made with the same love that started it all.
